Singing Mamas, baby massage & wellbeing in Cambridgeshire

A welcoming space to connect, breathe and feel more like yourself.

Baby Massage

A gentle space to connect with your baby and grow your confidence as a mum.

I'm looking to start small group baby massage sessions soon, in Waterbeach. A relaxed, welcoming space to slow down, connect with your baby and learn simple massage techniques you can enjoy together at home.

These sessions will be about more than massage. They’ll offer time to tune into your baby, build confidence in understanding and responding to their cues, and enjoy being together without the pressure to get everything right.

Singing Mamas
Cambridgeshire

Come as you are. Sing together. Connect with other mums.

Welcoming weekly Singing Mamas groups for mums across Cambridgeshire, with babies and children welcome. We sing simple, mindful songs together, then make time for refreshments and chat.

There are no auditions, no solos and no expectation that you can “sing well”. Babies can feed, wriggle, sleep or join in — while you get a chance to do something for you.

Connection without the pressure.

Singing gives everyone something in common straight away. You can join in with the music without needing to find the right words, and friendships can grow naturally from there.

Singing for
Wellbeing

A little space to breathe, sing, connect and restore.

Singing together can be about much more than making music. Breathing, listening, movement and shared sound can help us pause, feel present and reconnect with ourselves and other people.

You don't need to be an experienced singer. There are no auditions and no perfect voices required. We show up as we are, make something together and enjoy the feeling of being part of it.

Meet Sally

Held with harmony grew from my own experience of motherhood, music and finding my way back to myself.

Music had always been an important part of my life, but when I became a mum I found it difficult to hold on to the things that made me feel like me.

I felt a strong disconnect between the person I felt I had to pretend to be when navigating the mum and baby scene and how I was really feeling inside. There can be so many expectations around motherhood, and I wanted to create mum-and-baby classes where women have an opportunity to be their authentic selves — to feel all the feelings that come with the transition to motherhood, as well as the other experiences and emotions that may be impacting their lives.

This led me to train as an antenatal and baby massage class teacher. I loved supporting new mums and creating spaces where they could connect, but managing a new business while raising two young children during Covid eventually took a toll on my mental health. I decided to pause my baby classes and focus on bringing some calm and joy back into my own life.

When I thought about what would help me find that again, I knew it would be singing. I joined a choir, and getting back to singing was one of the best decisions I could have made for my wellbeing. It gave me something that was mine again, lifted my mood and gave me a way to connect with other people without the pressure of small talk. I knew that when I returned to postnatal support, I wanted to bring singing with me.

That experience inspired me to train with Singing Mamas. Held with harmony is about creating nurturing spaces where women can show up as they are, feel connected, feel supported and have something to look forward to. Most of all, it’s about creating a space where you don’t have to pretend — you can simply be yourself, with all the feelings that come with motherhood.
